13th International Conference on Shellfish Restoration
November 17–20, 2010
Charleston, South Carolina, USA

Abstract Submittal Guidelines

Abstracts are now being accepted online for consideration by the Conference Steering Committee from anyone with experience in shellfish research, management, or restoration. The conference organizers are encouraging contributing authors to present their work as posters as an alternative to oral presentations in order to minimize the need to hold too many concurrent sessions. Be sure the title and author(s) are correctly entered since the information you provide will be used in preparing the conference program. Prepare a separate submission for each abstract submitted. Please refer to the program themes section of this site to review the topics to be emphasized at ICSR'10.

Abstracts will be evaluated by the Conference Steering Committee on technical quality and relevance to the conference program themes. All submissions will be acknowledged and decisions on acceptance will be communicated to the corresponding author by September 20, 2010. A book of abstracts will be prepared as part of the conference program and made available to all ICSR'10 delegates at the conference. ICSR'10 abstracts will also be submitted for consideration to the Journal of Shellfish Research.

Abstracts sent in non-electronic format will not be accepted. The completed electronic abstract form should be submitted by August 27, 2010. For any questions concerning your abstract, contact Rick DeVoe at or (843) 953-2078.
